Beckie Sargent

Beckie Sargent, CPA founded Sargent Solutions LLC to provide accounting and tax services to small, service-based businesses—helping owners focus on running their businesses instead of running the numbers. In addition to keeping clients compliant with reporting regulations, Beckie compiles financial information into practical insights owners can use to meet their goals. Unlike many traditional accounting firms, she strives to provide relevant information in plain English—no accounting degree required. Like many entrepreneurs, Beckie’s path to Sargent Solutions followed a winding road. She has always excelled with numbers and with seeing how the pieces fit into the bigger picture. After beginning her degree at Purdue University, she took a ten-year break midway through to focus on her family’s business endeavors—experience she considers invaluable for understanding the challenges and pain points of building and sustaining a successful business. In 2007, Beckie completed her BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Colorado Technical Institute. She went on to earn her MS in Accounting, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut in 2008. In 2009, she obtained her CPA license and has since worked with owners of small to mid-sized businesses on accounting, compliance, and income tax needs, providing tax services to both businesses and individuals. Outside of work, Beckie enjoys staying active—whether at the gym, hiking, or on a volleyball court. She is also an avid DIYer and stays close with her family. She is often working on a project, visiting her parents, or taking a road trip with her daughter, Charity, and her dog, Bingo.
